On April 4, 1964, he was joined in holy matrimony to the former Aletha Williams and to this union produced five beautiful children. Thomas was a man of many traits, he was a skilled carpenter, famer, and construction worker. He worked for WVE Whitehurst for many years and retired as a crossing guard. Thomas was one who believed in helping and taking care of people and loved them as his own. He was the patriarch of Loretta Days children and grandchildren.
