Shelia Ann (Rackard) Sims

Shelia was the fifth of eight children born July 26, 1958 to Mr. Charlie and Ernestine (Crum) Rackard, in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Both parents preceded her in death.

The third eldest daughter, Shelia was educated in the Nassau County School District, attending Freeport High School 1972-1976.  Shelia was blessed to mother three children before relocating to Clearwater, Florida in 1988. She worked for serval nursing facilities in Clearwater and Largo before her health failed.

In 1997 Shelia was baptized and accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She answered the call of the Lord and entered to eternal peace on Monday, March 15, 2021.

Shelia leaves memories with loving family and special friends that truly loved her.  Devoted companion: Ernest Johnson, a loving and devoted: daughter LaShunda Daniels (Derf) sons: Charles and Shamel Johnson, one step-son Lamel Johnson; grandchildren: Salima, Kayla, Condrege Jr., Symone, and Dominic Daniels; Charles Jr., Maliyah, Ohigi, Chavo, Cam’ron , La’Naya Johnson, sisters:  Denise Scott(Ken), Charlene Jackson(Nate) Tampa, FL, (Irene Streater, Sarah Rackard Moore both preceded her in death), brothers: Elder Charles Rackard(Roslyn) Dunedin, FL and Kelvin Rackard, Clearwater, FL, (Henry Rackard preceded her in death), brother in law, Richard Streater, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.  Many childhood friends in New York will miss Shelia.
