Life Reflections
On July 20, 2020 Shantiquia Patrice Weaver Bannis-Holmes was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. She received the greatest grace of eternal peace, where there is no sadness or tears.
Shantiquia Patrice Weaver Bannis-Holmes was born December 11, 1985, to Charles Edwin Weaver and Patricia Bannis-Taylor at Morton Plant Hospital of Clearwater, Florida. She confessed Christ an early age and was baptized. She later joined Saint John Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Benjamin Adams, Jr.
Shan as she was affectionately was called by family and friends was a native of Clearwater, FL, and attended Clearwater Senior High School, where she graduated in 2004. She later furthered her education at Saint Petersburg College as she excelled and received the Golden Key and became apart of the International Honor Society.
Shantiquia met the love of her life Anthony Holmes, where they joined in Holy Matrimony on June 9, 2005 and to this union flourished five beautiful children. She had great sense of humor, and always made others laugh. She had a heart of gold and loved her family dearly. She will be remembered for her love of others, her loyalty, and her kind heart.
Precious memories will linger in the hearts of her husband, Anthony Holmes; children, Ashanti Holmes, As’hylei Homles, step children, Anthony Holmes III, Antoine Holmes and Arie Holmes, her parents, Charles Edwin Weaver Sr, and Patricia Bannis-Taylor (Vernon), brothers; Charles Edwin Jr, Terry Weaver (Stephanie), Donnell Weaver and Edwin Weaver-Bannis, sisters; Kristy Evans (Alphonso) and Cheryl Weaver, god-daughter; Iyanna Lowe, best friend Christina Bethune and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
