Rozella Patricia Daniels was born on December 29, 1956, to the late Juanita Nelson and MacDonald Samuels in Charleston, South Carolina.
She was educated in the Pinellas County School systems where she attended Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Anderson Daniels, Sr., in March 1985. She and her family relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida in the late 1970’s, from this union blossomed four beautiful children.
Rose, as she was called by family and friends, worked many years at Clearwater Palms of Largo as a housekeeper. Rozella was a very loving woman that helped family and friends when in need. She had fought cancer in 2014, and had been in remission until it came back, and she fought her battle until the end.
On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at her oldest son’s resident she crossed over to join the heavenly band of family and friends that preceded her in her homecoming. Awaiting her is her mother Juanita Nelson, her sister Alberta McKinnes, her brother Connie Nelson, nephew Larry Nelson, mother-in-law Essie B. Daniels, brother-in-law Elijah Daniels, and many more loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband Anderson Daniels, Sr., children, Juanita Daniels (Cedric), Andrea Sourie (Taj), Anderson Daniels, Jr., (Nicole M), Dominic Daniels (Nichole), four brothers, Ivan Nelson (Zena), Vernon Nelson (Emily), Michael Nelson (Mary), and Marion Samuels, one sister, Mary Walker (Chester), grandchildren, Nikalia Sutherland, Dominic Sourie, J’ruh Sourie, Nira Sourie, Nautica Solomon, J’ai Scott, Trinity Felton, Jeremiah Daniels, Damonie Daniels, Miya Daniels, Alaysia Daniels, Casio Daniels, Eliza Daniels, Eli Daniels, Hayden Daniels, Christian Seymour, Aiden Seymour, Roderick Seymour, Carleisha , Dazhane, Cartajia, many great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces. Nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Life Celebration Services honoring her life will take place Visitation held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from the hours of 12PM-7PM with funeral services held 11AM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Betty J. Blunt Memorial Chapel located at TR Dallas Funeral Services, interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, FL.
The Daniels family have chosen the Final Care Professionals at TR Dallas Funeral and Cremation Services., to walk with them during their hour of need.
