Morris Everett Martin

July 29, 1956-October 13, 2020

Morris Everett Martin was born on July 29, 1956 to the late Morris Crowder and Elizabeth Workman in Clearwater, Florida.

Morris was a native Floridian born and raised in Pinellas County. He was educated in the Pinellas County School.  He was Roofer Foreman for many years. He was a member of Overcoming Ministries Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Carlton S. Childs.

Morris was a loving husband, wonderful father, caring brother, and precious friend to many.  He was quiet, but always offered kind words and encouraged others. He was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, but most of all he loved his precious gems his grandchildren who was his pride and joy.  

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 Morris crossed the River Jordan, surrounded by family at Mease Countryside Hospital of Clearwater, Florida. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Crowder, and Elizabeth Workman, two brothers, Leandra Davis and Keith Humphrey, and grandson Markeen Prim all awaits his homecoming.

 

Morris leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Phyllis Dixon, sons; Mar-kyze Martin ( Kamellia), Liberian A. Miles (Katina), and Marcellus Miles (Gina), two daughters, Kakina Prim and Quannisha Robinson, two brothers; Jerome Humphrey  and Allen Martin, 22 grandchild and 24 great grandchildren, five special grandchildren, Milli-ani Martin, Shawn Miles, Quentin Miles,  Nicole Miles, and Devon Riley, and  Mya Matin, special friends; Eugene, Popa Joe “Glenn”, Billie, Joc Laprade, Bo, Ronnie, Standley, Eddie, and Logan and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
