Molly Delores Tolbert

 

Molly Delores Tolbert was born to the late Jim Tolbert and Sally D. Walker Carter on April 22, 1939 in Dawson, GA.  Was education in the public school of Terrell County, GA and Lincoln Heights School System in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Molly accepted Christ at an early, moving to Florida she made her it her home where she join St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of  Rev. Lewis Carr and later years under the leadership of Rev. Benny L. Dyer continuing to served faithfully until her health began to fail.  Molly was employed at Sun Coast Hospital for many years and Clearwater Community Hospital and later join force with the YMCA and there she worked and share her love with many families and children upon her retirement in 2013.  Molly was a loving, caring and devoted mother to her daughters along with the neighborhood children, she loved cooking, knitting and crocheting in her leisure time, she will truly be missed.

Molly answered her heavenly call on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Largo Medical Center, Largo, FL.

She was predeceased by her father and mother Jim Tolbert and Sally D. Walker Carter, brother, George Tolbert, Sister Josephine Ash and sister-in-law Jewel Tolbert.

 

Molly memories will forever be treasured by her children; Denise “Lynn” Wilson (Marvin) Cincinnati, Ohio; Regina Thompson (John), Stephanie Talbert both of Clearwater, FL and Rhonda Talbert, Atlanta, GA; Five Grand Children: Lyndon Rowells, Aja Thompson, Jyya Thompson, Sallyce Talbert all of Clearwater, FL and Akira Wilson, Atlanta, GA; Two Great Grand Children: A’Kai Thompson of Clearwater and Amirah Antoine of Atlanta, GA; One brother Roberto Hudson, Albany, GA; Four sisters: Ethel Cooper, Miami, FL; Bernice Ellis, Rebecca Hall both of Albany, GA; and Sarah French, Macon GA; a very special nephew she loved as her own son Andrew James and a host of God children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
