Joseph M. Cardone, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who met him, passed away peacefully January 11, 2022 with his family at his side. He was 79 years old. Joe was an army veteran serving in a clandestine military operation installing airstrips during the night that were used for supplies by guerrillas fighting against communism before the Vietnam War. He was a civil engineer whose life's passion and work was in construction management and design, and was the former owner and operator of Harmony Homes, Inc. of Lambertville, NJ.. He was a world traveler who loved to dance, was an avid gardener, cook, baker and artist who enjoyed drawing his grandchildren's favorite animated characters. Joe is survived by his wife Debbie of 43 years, sons Jason (Christine) and Ryan (Eilleen) Cardone, three daughters; Janine Cardone, Nikki (Matt) Galloway and Noelle (Jason) Bryant as well as seventeen grandchildren, three sisters; Diane (Tony) Garafola, Louisa and Marta Cardone, several loving in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary Cardone of Tampa, FL, and brother Dominick of Hazlet, NJ. A graveside memorial service will be held at the Bay Pines VA on Friday, February 4th at 2 PM. A celebration of life will directly follow at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on North Redington Beach.
