Mr. Gordon Wallace was born on January 8, 1947 in Tampa, Florida to the late Willie J. Wallace Sr and Earnestine Hamm. He was also preceded in death by his brothers James A. Wallace, and Willie Wallace Jr.
He was educated in the Pinellas County school systems in Clearwater, Florida and graduated from Pinellas High School class of 1966. He also attended Pinellas Technical School for heating, refrigerating, and air conditioning.
Mr. Gordon was the second president of the Greenwood Panthers Little league football program for many years in the 1990’s.
He also was enlisted in the United States Air Force’s with an honorable discharge. He was a baker, plasterer, and retired from ITI (Instrument Transformer Incorporated. Gordon was a former Mason.
On April 14, 2020 Gordon transitioned surrounded by family and friends.
Precious memories will linger in the memories of his devoted wife of 50 years Lois Miller Wallace, three children; Eric Wallace, Lashonn Wallace and Jason Wallace all of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren; Keyahna Wallace, Ja’ Zariyah Wallace, Jaylin Wallace, and Elijah Swanson, brothers; Kenneth Wallace, Jock Wallace, Joel Wallace, Braxton Glenn all of Clearwater, FL and Priest Glenn (Mia) of Palm Harbor, FL; sisters, Audrey Blue of Charlotte, North Carolina; Debbie Johnson (Peter), of Clearwater, FL; and Jane Black (John) of Charlotte, North Carolina, one sister-in-law; Thelma Wallace of Oklahoma City, one devoted brother-in-law; Jerald Dixon of Holiday, FL; devoted friends, Gary and Vanessa Johnson, Charles “Groucho” Allen, Jean Daniels and family, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
