Born to the late Dan and Minnie Dixon in Live Oak Florida, October 26, 1922. Mazie came here to Largo Florida on horse and buggy in 1924.
Mazie attended Pinellas High. She married the late John Boyd July 5th, 1941, who preceded her in death in 1959, and to that union, they had two children. Mazie worked as a domestic worker.
She was most proud to be a member and serve on the Usher board and the Senior mission at Shiloh M.B. Church since 1924. She was an Eastern Star and Heroines of Jericho until her health failed.
On, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 surrounded by family, her parents, sisters, brothers, and grandson awaits her homecoming.
She leaves to mourn her

9 grandchildren, Don Boyd, Nathaniel (Bubba) Wilkins Jr., Vondora (Dodie) Boyd, Beverly Stewart, Robin White (Perry), Jackie Stewart, Sheila Haynes, John Boyd (Ginger), preceded her in death Tori Boyd.
