Obituary

Our Dad, Kenneth Merrill Brown, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 24, 2024. We already miss him dearly, but have complete confidence we will see him again in heaven. You can too, if you have surrendered your life to Christ! Our Dad loved our late mother Diane Brown, us three girls and all of his family. He attended church regularly after accepting Christ at age 20, and his mission was to spread the gospel message. He also served in the United States Army and attended Trinity College. He was a bus pastor, bringing kids to church from the Condon Gardens neighborhood in the 1970's and 80's.

Memories from those days lasted throughout his lifetime. He would reminisce often of the times with the kids on the church bus. As adults, now many fondly remember times on the bus- singing songs and getting cookies! Many still appreciate the care he took to make sure the gospel was available to them.

He enjoyed his job as a contractor. He was skilled at working with concrete, and he loved working outdoors with his crew whether it was digging ditches or constructing bridges and buildings. Driving around Clearwater many of his building projects are still in use and stand as a reminder of the lasting mark of his life.

He leaves behind daughters Christine, Bethany and Melody, foster son Reece, sister Carolynne, ten grandchildren, nephew David, niece Kari, cousins and countless friends.
