Ms. Johnette E. McPherson - of St. Petersburg, FL transitioned into the eternal sunset in that fair homeland on the other shore – on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Home-Going Celebration Services&will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 11:00AM from the sanctuary of All Nations Seventh Day Adventist Church, St. Petersburg, FL.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Johnette Eleanor McPherson, who was more affectionately known as "Joy" to those who loved her. Sadly she left us on the morning of November 27, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on March 11, 1955, in Jamaica, Johnette was a woman of incredible faith, compassion, and love.

As devoted nurse for many years, she dedicated her life to caring for others and often times putting the needs of her patients above her own. Her love for Christ was exemplified in the way she cared for all those who met her and her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession; forever being a beacon ofkindness and a source of comfort to those in need.

Her faith was the foundation of her strength, which guided her through every trial she faced. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother who never hesitated to share the love of God and the importance of faith with her family.Johnette is survived by her two sons, Cleshon and Jason, who were the center of her world, as well as her four cherished grandchildren: Alena, Ariana, Layla, and Aiden. She adored her grandchildren and took great joy in cultivating their laughter, learning and love.

Her passing leaves an immense void that can never be filled, but her legacy of selflessness, love, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. We take comfort in knowing that her life was a life well-lived walking in the path of Christ. Both full of purpose and devotion to not only her family, but also to her community and to her faith.

As a sister in Christ she strived to live a life of faith, love, and service to all those around her. For this, we will be forever grateful of the times that we shared.

Let us find comfort in knowing that even in death her light and love will continue to guide our family for generations to come.

Rest in peace, Mom. You will be deeply missed, but your love and sacrifices will remain with us always.
