James Willie Crump D. 80, Safety Harbor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2024. James Willie was born and raised in Lumberton, North Carolina. He later moved to Safety Harbor, FL where he was a lifelong resident. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Effie D Herring Crump; son: James W Crump Jr, great-grandson: Kwan Thompson; siblings: Jessie, David, and Ralph Crump and sister JoAnn Crump Primus. He worked for Kapok Tree, Henkels and McCoy Infrastructure Engineering as a foreman, and National Linen where he retired. He was a member of Emanuel Tabernacle Christian Church, Safety Harbor, FL. Survivors include his daughters: Stacey Crump and Connie Hill; brothers: Horace Crump, Bruce Crump, and Harold Crump; sisters, Alean Crump Union, Helen Crump McArthur, and LeJune Crump Jamison; 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Sunday, July 14,2024, with visitation Sunday from 12-1pm, both at Emanuel Tabernacle.
