With hearts heavy and spirits full of cherished memories, we share the news of the passing of Deondre C. Wright, lovingly known to many as “Dee.” Deondre was born on March 6, 2008, in St. Petersburg, Florida—the very city that witnessed the unfolding of his extraordinary journey and, on July 22, 2026, became the place where his story here came to a close.

Family, friends, and community are invited to gather in remembrance of Deondre’s beautiful life. A Visitation will be held on August 8, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the 20th Street Church of Christ, located at 825 20th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712. Immediately following, a Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 AM at the same church, as we unite in honoring Deondre’s memory. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760.

As we say goodbye, we hold fast to love and to the enduring impact of a young life lived with courage, kindness, and grace. Deondre C. Wright will be deeply missed and remembered always.
