Life Reflections for
Brother Charles Reddick
Sunrise-September 23, 1961- Sunset- October 7, 2021
Charles Reddick was born September 23, 1961, to the late Jimmie Lee Prymus and Fred Reddick, also precede him in death were his Grandparents Hester Ann Prince and Willie Prince. Charles has always been very affectionate. As huge as he was he never met a stranger, he was a gentle giant. He will always be remembered for bringing laughter to the family and others.
Charles graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School in Jacksonville Florida in 1979 home of the Might Trojans where he loved music. Once graduating from High School he pursued a career in the food industry working for various restaurants. Charles loved music so he learned how to spin records and became a well known DJ in the local area.
Charles encountered some trials in life that kept him down for a moment. He always found his way back to the church. His upbringings were in the church and allowed him to bounce back from every situation he faced. His faith in the Lord was unwavering he stayed connected to the church via phone call, text or visits. He was a faithful member of St. James AME Church where he sang in the Male Chorus, Trustee and Sunday School. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife Martha Reddick (St. Petersburg) siblings Willie Frank Reddick (Susan) Oviedo FL, Fred Lee Reddick (Wanda) Altamonte Springs, FL Kenneth Reddick St. Petersburg, FL, Ricky Reddick (Shere) Palm Harbor, FL, Hester Ann Reddick Sanford, FL. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. Special thanks to Pastor Winston and the St. James Church Family and all of the caregivers who really got to know him in his lifetime.
