Barbara Leberta Thomas (Mixon) was born on March 16, 1947 to the late Alex Mixon and Alma Carpenter in Jackson, Mississippi.

Barbara departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 2, 2020 in St. Petersburg, Florida, just a week after the passing of her sister Laura Lee Turk.

Cherishing her memories&is her loving son, George Mixon, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The viewing will be held Friday, April 17, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Betty J. Blunt Memorial Chapel at TR Dallas Funeral & Cremation Services, 1479 S. MLK Jr. Avenue.
