A native of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Alvin Kenneth Thomas was born to the late Tony Lee Thomas, Sr and Elouise Ivery on November 25, 1967.

Alvin also known as "Kent" to family and friends, was educated in the Pinellas County School system, where he attended Lakewood High School. Alvin worked various as a housekeeper. Alvin was always the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor, and always made others laugh. He had a heart of gold and loved his family dearly.

On December 18, 2020 at the age of 53, Alvin transitioned at Bayfront Health of Saint Petersburg, FL.

Awaits his homecoming are his parents, Alvin Thomas, Sr. and Elouise Ivery, brother, Bobby Thomas and many other relatives and friends.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; three brothers, James B. Ivery, George Dixon (Helen), and Tony Lee Thomas, Jr., eight sisters; Louise Tinson, Josephine Seafus, Mary Seafus-Reddish, Carol Thomas-Herstand (Leroy), Lisa Rogers-Beacham (Dezi), Sharon Rogers, and Marilyn Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, and companion Patricia Floyd.

Mr. Thomas life will be celebrated Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.A visitation will be held Friday, January 1, 2021 5:00 P.M. to 7 P.M.all services will be held atAbundantLife Ministries (2015-9th Avenue South) St. Petersburg, Florida 33712. Finial Resting place will be Royal Palm Cemetery South, St. Petersburg, FL. Please note that masks and social distancing are required.
