On September 17, 2019, Duella Brewton was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. She received the greatest grace of external peace, where there is no sadness or tears.
Duella Brewton was born March 30, 1955, to the late Eugene Brewton, Sr and Rachel Washington Brewton in Lake Butler, Florida. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized. She later joined Destiny Church of God by Faith under the leadership of Pastor Steve Miller, where she served faithfully as an usher until her health begin to fail.
Duella was a native of Williston, FL, where she was a graduate of Williston Senior High School, class of 1973. She later received her certificate from Williston Vocational School as an certified accountant.
Duella known to many as “Due” was loved by her family, friends, and church family, was known for her willingness to help others and share a kind word of inspiration when one would need a listening ear.
Duella was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Sr and Rachel Brewton; her brothers Gilbert Brewton and Ruben Brewton; a niece Erica Brewton and nephew Atrice Williams, Jr, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins awaits her homecoming.
Her life, memories, smile, and her willingness to help others will always be remembered and cherished by: her devoted and loving daughter Sunda Augenfeld (Lars), two sons; Gerard Williams and Reggie Williams; two brothers; Eugene Brewton Jr (Hyla) and Carlton Brewton Sr, two sisters; Jaqueline Brewton and Valerie Frazier (Leroy), 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, two God brothers; Larry Monroe and Maurice James, God sister; Barbara Brewton a special cousin Orin “Goo” Dallas and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
